A marquee intended for more than 50 people is classified as a public-access establishment of CTS type (Marquees, Tents and Structures). It must be declared to the town hall or the prefecture depending on capacity and undergo an inspection by the ERP safety committee. We provide the full file (stability certificate, M2 canvas certificate, layout plan, anchoring calculation) so that your legal department or your safety officer can submit it at least 30 days before the event. For an event on public roads or a private space open to the public, a temporary occupation request must also be anticipated with the manager of the site.

Over the May-October period, the ideal lead time is 3 to 6 months for capacities above 200 people. In low season (November-March), we frequently handle enquiries at 3-4 weeks, sometimes 10 days if the site constraints allow. If your project is urgent, contact us: we keep backup structures in stock available for last-minute corporate operations.

Setting up a marquee of 100 to 200 m² takes 4 to 8 hours with a team of 3 to 5 fitters. For areas above 500 m², allow 1 to 2 full days with a reinforced team. Takedown is generally 30 to 40% faster than setup. We always plan a 24 h buffer before the event to integrate the technical services (sound, lighting, furniture) and 24 h afterwards for takedown, which safeguards your operation.
