The professional marquee: an event production tool, not just a piece of canvas

When a business, a public body, a consultancy or an agency looks for a professional marquee, what it is really looking for is far more than a structure. It is looking for a partner able to keep precise commitments: confirmed date, compliant safety file, fixed budget, visual quality, guest safety. It is these commitments that define the line between a festive tent hire and a genuine B2B service.

Our professional marquees are calibrated for contexts where reliability comes first: internal conventions, plenary sessions, management seminars, client parties, product launches, trade shows, commercial fairs, charity galas. Each structure is delivered with complete, signed and legally binding technical documentation, allowing your HSE manager, your security department or the ERP committee to approve the event with no lingering questions.

The difference comes down to the details: a perfectly level floor, anchoring calculated for the exact ground of your site, canvas that resists driving rain and UV, even lighting with no hot spots, emergency exits signposted in accordance with the order of 23 January 1985, and 24/7 human on-call cover throughout the operating period. These fundamentals are non-negotiable — they are our delivery standard.

B2B technical FAQ

Your questions, our answers

Yes. We are registered or in the process of being registered with several mid-cap companies and major groups in the banking-insurance, industry, energy, consulting and tech sectors. In under 24 h we provide all the documents needed to create a supplier record: KBIS, RIB, URSSAF certificate, tax certificate, professional RC certificate 10 M€, RIB, articles of association, latest accounts, GDPR, ethics charter. We accept purchase orders, supplier portals (Coupa, Ariba, Ivalua, SAP SRM) and electronic invoicing in Chorus format.

We apply terms compliant with the LME: 30 days end of month or 45 days from the invoice date, as you prefer. For new clients, a 60% deposit is required on confirmation of the order (balance one month before the event), in accordance with our terms of hire. For registered clients, we adapt the rhythm to your internal process (payment at 60 days possible on an annual commitment). All our invoices are issued in Chorus format if you are a public administration and in Factur-X format for private companies.

We take charge of the entire safety file. 30 days before the event you receive: the structure's stability certificate, the M2 fire-reaction certificate (or B1 under the German standard), the layout plan at 1/100 or 1/200 scale, the anchoring calculation suited to your ground, the NV65 wind calculation note, the NF C 15-100 electrical compliance certificate, and the evacuation plan with signposted emergency exits. This file is forwarded to your ERP committee or your internal safety officer for approval. We remain the direct point of contact for the safety committees should they have any questions.

Yes. We coordinate multi-site operations (for example: 5 regional plenaries over 3 weeks) with a central project manager and local site managers. Our logistics network across mainland France allows us to mobilise up to 8 marquees simultaneously. Every worksite meets the same standard of visual and technical quality. You get a single consolidated report and centralised invoicing if you wish.

The survey is free from 200 guests. A project manager visits the site to: measure the available area, identify heavy-goods access, locate the networks (electricity, water, telecoms), check the nature of the ground and the gradient, list the fixed obstacles (trees, lampposts, street furniture), validate the emergency exits, and photograph the surroundings. Within 5 days you receive a visit report with a proposed layout plan and the constraints identified.

For marquees over 200 people, we systematically calculate the power balance: service lighting (3 to 5 W/m²), stage lighting (depending on the scenario), sound, video, heating, catering kitchen, electrical furniture. We propose either a connection to the site's distribution board (power of 63 or 125 A three-phase typically required) or a Whisper soundproofed generator (45 dB at 7m) calibrated to the peak power. All our cabinets comply with NF C 15-100 and come with a compliance certificate signed by a qualified electrician.

Yes. The white PVC canvas reflects up to 70% of solar radiation and the indoor-outdoor difference stays contained at 4-5°C without air conditioning. Above 32°C outside, we install centralised air conditioning sized at 100 W/m² or adiabatic coolers. For storms, the structure withstands winds of up to 100 km/h in standard configuration. We activate a weather on-call protocol (consulting Météo France pro 4 times a day from D-3) and a preventive evacuation plan if the situation requires it.

Yes, with suitable partitioning. For a catering kitchen, we provide: a back area separated from the public, a 32A three-phase power supply minimum, forced ventilation and floor protection (EPDM tarpaulin, technical flooring). For a bar, we install dressed counters, dedicated lighting, a cold-storage area and a water drain if necessary. Our kitchen-services partner can step in if you do not have your own provider.

The legal capacity depends on the type of configuration: 1 m²/person standing (reception), 1.4 m²/person seated with catering service, 0.5 m² per person in dense theatre seating, 2.5 m²/person for a comfortable meal with a dance floor. Our study determines the optimal capacity, taking into account the regulatory emergency exits (1 exit unit of 0.90 m per 100 people, 2 exit units for 100-500). The capacity stated on our quotes is always the actual usable capacity, not the theoretical maximum.

For capacities of > 200 people, the marquee becomes more economical than a privatised venue in most major cities, particularly in Île-de-France and Lyon. The total cost (structure, setup, services) is often 20 to 40% lower than that of a premium event venue, and you gain total branding (guidelines respected 100%), a bespoke capacity, a chosen location (your site, your premises, a partner estate), and the ability to hold the event on the strategic date of your choice without suffering the shortage of venues in peak season.

A B2B requirement deserves a partner that measures up

For your plenary sessions, conventions, trade shows, client dinners and openings, we take charge of the entire technical and regulatory side. You stay focused on the content, the image and the guest experience.
