Which generator for how many guests?
Our starting points. The final size depends on the loads to supply: electric heating or hot cooking on site can push it up a notch.

Caterer (ovens, fridges), sound, lighting, heating: every lot draws on the same supply, and it always trips at dessert. Because we operate all the lots, we add up the real loads, size the source (venue supply or generator) and wire one distribution line per use.

Frequently asked questions about heating and power
Allow around 35 to 45 W per m³ in mid-season and up to 60 W per m³ in deep winter. For a 200 m² marquee (about 600 m³), that means 25 to 30 kW in mid-season and 35 to 45 kW in winter to reach 18-20 °C. Closed walls, lining and a floor can halve the requirement: we do the exact calculation for your structure, season and use.
The indirect heater sits outside with ducted distribution: the noise stays out. For weddings, premium ducted heating is nearly inaudible inside the tent.
That is the case for most estates and gardens: a generator takes over. We size it (3 to 100 kVA) by adding up the loads to supply (caterer, sound, lighting, heating) with a safety margin, and from 20 kVA a backup generator of the same power is included as standard.
It is itemised separately, never discovered on the day. For the generator, a weekend fuel package (about 150 L, roughly twelve hours of running) is offered in the quote; beyond that, actual consumption is charged. Heating gas is priced according to duration and season.
