Public-facing & multi-day
A festival brings together several complementary structures: stage, bar, welcome desk, partner stalls, backstage, VIP areas, toilets. Our role is to deploy a clear, robust setup that works over 1 to 5 days, sized for attendance peaks and compliant with the public-venue (ERP/CTS) regulations. Producing a festival is one of the most complex event operations: you simultaneously manage the artistic line-up, public capacity, prefectural authorisations (mandatory above 1,500 people), safety, the technical setup, emergency-services coordination, multi-day logistics and communications. A single one of these elements mis-calibrated can lead to cancellation by the safety commission — or worse, an operational incident. We have supported organisers for more than 10 years with a simple promise: a site manager on the ground from D-3 to D+1, a 24/7 technical standby throughout the operation, a watertight ERP/GA safety file delivered 30 days before the event, and the capacity to deploy up to 8 structures at once on a single site.
Typical use cases
Our recommendation
Favour a combination of specialised structures: a marquee or large-span structure for the stage and main capacity, modular pop-up gazebos for bars, welcome desk and partner stalls, pagoda tents for VIP/press, and self-contained toilet units sized for the attendance peak (1 toilet for 25 to 30 people).
Worth keeping in mind
A festival is not a reception — operational robustness comes first. Anticipate HGV access constraints, anchoring (stakes vs ballast depending on the ground), safety lighting, circulation signage and the public-venue declaration at the town hall (mandatory from 50 people hosted under a temporary structure).

Capacity
The right setup depends first on the number of guests expected. Here are our recommendations by headcount band for a festival.
200 – 500 spectators
Local festival, single stage, community format
A 10×21m marquee + 2 backup pop-up gazebos + 1 toilet unit covers most configurations.
500 – 1,500 spectators
Area-wide festival, 2 days, stage + village
Plan a 12×15m stage, 4 to 6 pop-up gazebos for bar/stalls, 2 to 3 toilet units, welcome desk under a pagoda tent.
1,500 – 4,000 spectators
Regional festival, multi-day, several stages
20×40m large-span structure as the main stage, with satellite setup (food court, press, partners) in pop-up gazebos and arched tents.
4,000 + spectators
Large festival, complex operation
On quote. Prior technical survey, site layout plan, intervention coordinated with your production team.

Preparation
The points to settle ahead of a festival so it goes off without a hitch.
Mandatory from 50 people under a temporary structure. Allow 1 month minimum.
Position of structures, circulation routes, emergency exits, water and power points.
Stakes on soil/grass, ballast on concrete/tarmac. Load-bearing study if the ground is sensitive.
Allow 1 toilet for 25 to 30 spectators at peak, with washbasins in proportion.
Walkways, emergency exits, compliant signage — 1h minimum battery backup.
Dressing rooms, control desk, equipment storage — often in enclosed pop-up gazebos or pagoda tents.
Crystal-clear or solid walls depending on the wind/rain scenario. Decision to be taken 72h ahead.
Passage width, bridge clearance, load-bearing of the access road. Confirmed during the survey.
Provided by our teams before the event — to be shown to the safety commission.
Time slot and condition report. Allow 1 to 2 days of takedown for a multi-day festival.

Our team supports event organisers across France with a complete tent hire offer festival. A festival, whether musical, cultural or gastronomic, calls for an infrastructure able to host several thousand visitors over several days with very distinct areas: stage, bar, backstage, welcome, catering, toilet units. Marquees, pop-up gazebos, large-span structures and technical structures combine to cover the entire setup. We operate across the whole country, with teams that can be mobilised quickly to coordinate the setup, the access and the technical equipment. For an outdoor wedding, a corporate cocktail reception or a private reception, we size the structure, the guest flow and the technical options (flooring, lighting, heating, lining) to deliver a result that is durable, clear and consistent with your budget.
Hiring tents for a festival lets you set up a complete event site on open land (meadow, urban wasteland, industrial area) with structures sized to withstand several days of intensive use and the weather constraints.
This approach is essential for seasonal festivals, touring editions, open-air gastronomic events and cultural happenings that want a strong visual identity and a self-sufficient setup.
For a festival, we offer marquees for the stages (5 to 20 m wide), pop-up gazebos for the bars, food trucks and stands, large-span structures for high-capacity covered spaces and technical structures for the backstage and VIP areas.
The equipment covers rigging for sound and lighting, stage structure, high-power electrical supply, visitor flow management, signage, event toilet units and technical storage areas.
We work in close coordination with the sound, lighting and stage managers to anticipate the needs in terms of load, rigging and access.
The price of a festival depends on the number of structures, the duration of installation (often 4 to 7 days including setup and takedown) and the associated technical equipment.
We price on a quote basis after scoping the programme, confirming the site plan and studying the site's constraints. Recurring festivals benefit from preferential rates through multi-year contracts.
For a tent hire service festival in France, you receive a full estimate within 24 h including delivery, setup, takedown and logistics coordination.
Our teams handle the installation and delivery across the whole country, with a precise schedule agreed in advance with your reception venue.
Setup for a festival is scheduled 2 to 5 days before opening to the public depending on the scale of the setup. Coordination with the production, security, sound/lighting technicians and municipal services is essential.
Takedown is generally carried out in 24 to 48 hours after closing to free up the site quickly. We handle the restoration and the waste processing in coordination with the organiser.

For 500 spectators, we generally recommend a 10×21m marquee (210m²) as the main stage/area, complemented by 2 to 3 pop-up gazebos for the bar and partner stalls, plus a toilet unit. This setup meets the public-venue capacity and stays serviceable over 2 to 3 days without wear.
Yes. Any temporary structure holding more than 50 people falls under the CTS public-venue regime and requires a prior declaration at the town hall, ideally 1 to 2 months ahead. We provide the safety registers, fire-reaction certificates (M2) and CTS attestations needed for the file.
Our marquees and large-span structures comply with NF EN 13782 and hold up to 100 km/h depending on the anchoring type. On soft ground we use stake anchoring; on hard ground (concrete, asphalt) we ballast with concrete weights (1 to 2 tonnes per point). The choice is confirmed during the prior technical survey.
The rule of thumb is 1 toilet for 25 to 30 spectators present at peak, with washbasins in proportion. For a festival of 1,000 spectators over 1 day, allow 3 to 4 units of 4 toilets + 2 washbasins. Our units are self-contained for water (clean and waste-water tanks) and only need a 220V power supply.
Yes — it is actually one of the strengths of our range. Pop-up gazebos link together with PVC joints between bays, pagoda tents sit side by side in a gallery, and a marquee can be extended with a canopy. This lets you create a continuous covered route between stage, bar, welcome desk and partner areas.
For a festival, we recommend reserving the equipment 3 to 6 months ahead, especially for May-to-September editions when demand is high. A prior technical survey (site visit, confirmation of access and anchoring) is included in the service.
Yes, setup and takedown are always included. For a multi-day festival, takedown usually starts the following Monday and can take 1 to 2 days depending on the complexity of the setup. You hand the site back in its original state with no extra work.
Depending on the availability of our fleet, we can respond in under 24h for an emergency replacement or reinforcement. This happens occasionally at festivals (weather, unexpected rise in attendance). It is best to let us know as early as possible so we can confirm feasibility.
