Signature private reception
A wedding under canvas is both an aesthetic and a technical project: you need to host 60 to 300 guests over 8 to 12 hours, create a genuine setting (cocktail, dinner, party), and keep everyone comfortable until the early hours. Our role is to propose the structure that speaks to your venue and your style — château, vineyard, meadow or private garden. The wedding under canvas has become the majority choice for capacities above 100 guests, where conventional reception venues become limiting (limited capacity, fixed staging, imposed time slots). The tent lets you choose the venue, fully personalise the décor, calibrate the capacity precisely and run the event until morning with no constraints. For organisers (couples-to-be, wedding planners, estate owners), our offer covers the whole process: on-site technical survey, choice of the right structure (marquee, stretch tent, orangery, reception tipi), coordination with your wedding planner and suppliers (caterer, DJ, decorator, florist), scale layout plan, safety file, setup and takedown by our senior team, and technical standby during the evening.
Typical use cases
Our recommendation
For a premium wedding, the look of the structure matters as much as the cover. An orangery, crystal tent or bamboo marquee come into their own when the visual result is central; the classic marquee remains unbeatable for comfort and flexibility on large capacities.
Worth keeping in mind
Anticipate the weather with a plan B (crystal-clear walls, heating, flooring) — a May-to-October wedding is never safe from a shower. Also plan for end-of-evening comfort: toilets, soft lighting, a lounge area.

Capacity
The right setup depends first on the number of guests expected. Here are our recommendations by headcount band for a mariage.
60 – 100 guests
Intimate wedding, ceremony + dinner + party
A stretch tent of ~130 m² or a 9×12m orangery comfortably covers a seated dinner + dance floor.
100 – 180 guests
Classic wedding, cocktail + dinner + dancing
A 10×21m marquee (210 m²) or 12×18m orangery — leave 30 m² for the dance floor and bar.
180 – 300 guests
Large wedding, separate cocktail + dinner + party
A 12×24m or 15×24m marquee, with cocktail/dinner separated by fabric partitions.
300 + guests
Prestige multi-space wedding
Often a combination of 2 structures (dinner + party) — on quote.
Indicative budget
These ballpark figures include the structure, the setup and the takedown. The final quote depends on the venue, the options and the season — a tailored reply within 24 h.

Our team supports event organisers across France with a complete tent hire offer mariage. The wedding is the most demanding reception event: the structure must combine elegance, capacity, thermal comfort and consistency with the decor. Most projects are built around a marquee for large receptions, a stretch tent for gardens or estates, an orangery for gala atmospheres and a tipi for bohemian open-air celebrations. We operate across the whole country, with teams that can be mobilised quickly to coordinate the setup, the access and the technical equipment. For an outdoor wedding, a corporate cocktail reception or a private reception, we size the structure, the guest flow and the technical options (flooring, lighting, heating, lining) to deliver a result that is durable, clear and consistent with your budget.
Hiring a tent for your wedding lets you frame the ceremony, the cocktail hour, the seated dinner and the dance floor under one continuous cover, while keeping the freedom to choose an unequipped venue: estate garden, meadow, family land, wine estate.
A professional structure protects the reception against rain, wind or summer heat and guarantees consistent comfort for 50 to 500 guests, with quality flooring, careful lighting, heating or ventilation depending on the season.
For a wedding, we steer you towards the dressed marquee (rectangular volume for seated meals), the stretch tent (highly photogenic organic silhouette), the orangery (transparency and height under the ridge) or the multi-pole tipi for a strong visual signature.
Each model comes in several footprints and finish levels: timber flooring, ivory interior lining, glazed bays, radiant heating in the shoulder season, air conditioning for summer and floral dressing in keeping with the decor.
We confirm the configuration based on the number of guests, the seating plan, the venue constraints (lorry access, ground, listed areas) and the timing of the day so as to factor in setup, takedown and coordination with the other providers.
The price of a wedding tent hire depends mainly on the usable area (on average 1.3 to 1.8 m² per guest), the type of structure chosen, the hire duration and the level of interior equipment selected.
A wedding of 100 to 150 guests under a dressed marquee stays within a controlled budget; orangery or premium stretch configurations with flooring, heating and full dressing move up the range. The quote details each item to make budget trade-offs easier.
For a tent hire service mariage in France, you receive a full estimate within 24 h including delivery, setup, takedown and logistics coordination.
Our teams handle the installation and delivery across the whole country, with a precise schedule agreed in advance with your reception venue.
Setup for a wedding is scheduled 1 to 3 days before the ceremony, depending on the size and complexity of the structure. We coordinate the installation with the caterer, the florist, the DJ and the wedding planner so that the venue is ready in time for the decorative setup.
Takedown takes place the next day or the day after and includes restoring the site (cleaning, removal of anchors, visual check). We offer on-call technical support for the duration of the event for the most demanding configurations.

For a seated dinner with round tables, allow about 1 m² per guest — so 150 m² for 150 guests. Add 30 to 50 m² for the dance floor, bar and circulation areas. For a standing cocktail, 0.7 m² per guest is enough.
Flooring is very strongly recommended above 100 guests, and essential on uneven or damp ground. It makes movement safer (heels, elderly guests), evens out the finish and allows a clean dance floor to be installed.
The marquee is the versatile, comfortable format, ideal for 120 to 250 guests at a seated dinner. The orangery brings a bright, premium feel thanks to its transparent roof — perfect for vineyards and châteaux. The stretch tent suits weddings with a bohemian or contemporary style, on more measured capacities (60 to 150 guests).
Ideally 6 to 12 months ahead for weddings between May and September, especially for signature structures (orangery, crystal tent, bamboo marquee). For off-season weddings or more standard structures, 3 to 4 months ahead is still comfortable.
Yes, provided you plan a versatile enough format (a wide marquee or orangery) that allows the room to be reset between ceremony and dinner. Otherwise, the classic approach is to have a separate ceremony area (under a canopy, a Lycra sail or outdoors) and then move to the main tent for the dinner.
All our structures comply with NF EN 13782 (winds up to 100 km/h). If it rains, the crystal-clear walls close the tent while keeping the light. In a heatwave, we open up as much as possible (walls rolled up), provide misting fans and position the structure in the shade where possible. A weather plan B is confirmed 72h before the event.
Takedown is usually scheduled for the following Monday and takes 4 to 8 hours depending on the complexity. The ground is handed back clean and in its original state. We coordinate with the venue beforehand to avoid any scheduling clash.
