Wedding under a bamboo marquee in château grounds
A large bamboo marquee with an ecru sailcloth roof and natural bamboo poles set up in the grounds of a château: round tables and long banquet tables dressed in white, wooden bistro chairs, bamboo cage pendant lights and a ceiling of fairy lights raining down like stars for an eco-chic wedding dinner.
For this wedding, a large bamboo marquee was set up in the grounds of a château. In place of the usual metal frame, the structure uses natural bamboo poles and an ecru sailcloth stretched into soft sails: a warm, organic and eco-friendly look that echoes the estate's tall trees. At the entrance, pampas grass carries on the smart country-style feel.
Under the canopy, the reception mixes round tables and long banquet tables dressed in white, wooden bistro chairs and careful tableware — floral table runners, red and white ribbons, glassware and bread at every place setting. The bamboo poles, fitted with bamboo cage pendant lights, punctuate the space while keeping the view open onto the grounds and the château façade.
As night falls, the ceiling lights up with a cascade of fairy lights radiating from each pole, turning the marquee into a starlit sky. Technical site survey, guying, setup and takedown were handled by our network over the wedding weekend.
