Yes — in fact it's the rule in a characterful venue. We anchor the structure with concrete ballast rather than stakes driven into the ground: no holes, no marks, and protection of buried services is guaranteed. On a cobbled courtyard, old paving or a terrace, ballast is the ideal solution. On a fragile lawn, we add a geotextile and trackway matting for the logistics, then wood flooring beneath the reception. The venue is handed back exactly as we found it.

Often, yes. A listed château, a registered park or land within the protection radius of a historic monument may require an opinion from the Architect of the Buildings of France (ABF) and a declaration to the town hall, even for a temporary installation. We know these steps and prepare a file ready to submit: layout plan, discreet canvas choices, limited installation period. We support you in the exchange with the ABF and the town hall to avoid any nasty surprises.

Château grounds and wine estates are rarely flat. We even out the differences in level with wood flooring set on jacks, creating a perfectly horizontal surface even on a sloping lawn or bumpy ground. This flooring also protects the grass and makes for comfortable walking — much appreciated in heels. For steeper slopes, the survey lets us choose the most favourable spot and size the levelling required precisely.

No — that's the whole point of a carefully studied layout. During the survey, we orient the structure to preserve the view of the façade, the grounds or the vines, and to keep your most precious photo angles clear. A crystal-clear or stretch tent, through its transparency and lightness, lets the setting breathe. We always avoid masking the most emblematic feature of the venue: the structure frames the beauty of the château rather than hiding it.

For a 120-guest wedding in a stretch or crystal-clear tent, allow on average 7,000 to 14,000 € excl. VAT (structure, transport, setup, flooring, floor protection). A prestige orangery or glasshouse for a 200-person gala dinner is more in the 12,000 to 24,000 € excl. VAT range. The wood flooring (essential on a lawn), scenographic lighting and heating or air conditioning depending on the season are costed separately. The quote is always drawn up after the survey to match the reality of the venue.

Heritage venues rarely have enough electrical power for a large reception. During the survey we assess the available connections and, if needed, supplement them with a soundproofed generator and a board compliant with NF C 15-100. For water, we plan the supplies the caterer and the toilets need. Everything is sized so as not to overload the château's old installations and to guarantee an evening without an outage.

In peak season (May to September, especially for weddings), we recommend booking 4 to 6 months ahead to have the full choice of the catalogue. In low season or for corporate events, 4 to 8 weeks is generally enough. For urgent projects, we assess availability case by case and send a detailed quote within 24 h with a realistic execution plan.
